Foreigner drowned in Cahuita on Tuesday morning

An American woman drowned on Tuesday at Playa Grande in Cahuita de Limón.

Daniel Venegas, supervisor of the Red Cross, reported that the incident was occurred at 11:45 am and the paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene.

The woman was identified with the surname White, 60 years old.

The case is in the hands of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ).
