Former minister victim of insecurity

June 17, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Last Thursday, two individuals stole a car from former minister of security, Jannina del Vecchio. The episode occurred in La Unión, Cartago.

Apparently, the former public servant was entering her daughter’s house when 2 individuals approached her, threatened her with a gun, and took her gray car.

The vehicle appeared in San Ramón de Tres Ríos. The authorities keep a security operation in the area.

The information was confirmed by Mary Fullmen, Deputy Minister of Security.

During her administration, del Vecchio said that insecurity was “a matter of perception.”
