Four months of imprisonment against American suspected of femicide

September 28, 2017 by Staff News Writer

On Thursday afternoon the Criminal Court of Pérez Zeledón issued four months of preventive custody against an American named Willis, suspected of femicide.

The foreigner is linked to the discovery of a half-buried body this Tuesday in a farm in the South Zone.

The facts were reported when agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) were alerted of the presence of a corpse in the extensive property located in Pejibaye de Pérez Zeledón.

The American lived in the main house of the property, and the body was located 500 meters from that point.
