The nightmare is over for four tourists who suffered an accident on the slopes of Arenal Volcano on Friday morning.
After the discovery, 45 firefighters from the Cavern and Mountain Rescue Unit entered into operation, to support the rescue operations carried out by the Red Cross.
After the alert that the group was lost, the Red Cross, as well as the Fire Department activated the emergency protocol.
Hours later, it was possible to find the whereabouts of the victims, who were badly bruised, and one even had a broken jaw.
Authorities believe they fell during the walk in the mountain. Fortunately, everyone is stable.
