Free Tango in Plaza de la Democracia

Tonight, Nicholas Artin, master of the Escuela Argentina de Tango in Buenos Aires, will give a free dance class at Democracy Square in San Jose. The workshop is sponsored by the groups, Urban Pause and Friends of Tango. The event will continue until 10pm and hopes to teach the basics to those who have time to learn.

Artin will also be offering paid lessons at the Clandestino Tango Club, located in Paseo Colon. The first course is for beginners, and is either $60 per person or $100 per couple. Artin will also visit Mal Pais from March 10th to 22th, and Viejo, Limon from March 21st to 23rd.
