Fuel prices will increase

January 4, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Regulatory Authority for Public Services (ARESEP) approved RECOPE’s request for an increase in fuel prices.

As confirmed by Carolina Mora from ARESEP, the increase corresponds to changes in international oil prices, which directly affect the prices of refined fuels bought by Costa Rica.

Once the price adjustment is published in the Gazette, super gasoline will increase from ¢562 per liter to ¢592, the Plus will increase from ¢525 to ¢562, and diesel will increase from ¢427 per liter to ¢475.
