Gang offered “luxury” sexual services to foreigners for $ 1500 in Jacó

June 29, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The four people who were arrested on Wednesday in Jacó for selling drugs are also being investigated for the crime of procuring and trafficking.

One woman filed a complaint after this group recruited her and even included her in a catalog that was shown to upper-class tourists.

The gang was integrated by two Colombians and two Costa Ricans who rented luxurious properties in Jacó and at the same time offered synthetic drugs and sexual services.

The Attorney General of the Republic, Jorge Chavarría, called for more people who have been victims of this group to file their complaints with the national authorities.

A Colombian woman named Gaitán was in charge of recruiting women. A man named Hincapié distributed the drug from San José to Jacob. He handed it to another man named Campos who was also arrested along with another Costa Rican named Mora. None of them had a record.

Officials said that the subjects charged $1500 to foreigners in the area.
