Garabito will have its first gastronomic festival

Many national and foreign tourists can be part of the first Garabito Luces del Mar Gastronomic Festival “Nos vemos en el parque” (See you in the Park) that will be held next December.

The Festival will be held from 11 am to 11 pm on December 6th and 7th, and from 10 am to 10 pm on December 8th. The value of the ticket for food will cost a thousand colones and admission is free. Tickets are purchased at the ticket office of the activity, which is organized by the Chamber of Tourism and Sustainable Trade of the Central Pacific (Catucoso) and the Municipality of Garabito, and will be held in the municipal park “Johannes Dankers” (Jaco).

Within the park, the restaurants in the area will be serving their best dishes to showcase the gastronomic offer including ceviches, seafood, fish, Italian food, meat, vegetarian alternatives, in an environment surrounded by the liveliness and warmth of the people of the canton.

In addition to tasting different dishes, attendees can enjoy cultural and adventure activities, and concerts.
