Gastronomic Festival will return to Escalante on December 4th

November 25, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The Gastronomic Festival will return to Barrio Escalante. The fourth edition will start at 11 in the morning until 8 in the evening of December 4th.

For this occasion, the organizers are preparing to welcome more than 30,000 attendees, improving the supply at Calle 33, which includes the Paseo Gastronómico La Luz and around Barrio Escalante.

Silvia Rodríguez, president of the Asociación Paseo Gastronómico La Luz, explained that one of the requests is that people to try to move by other means and leave their vehicles away.

This edition will feature the participation of 19 restaurants. Rodríguez explained that they expect to have a better distribution so that the waiting times are shorter.

As a festival we want to deliver more and better experiences, because we want to imply that Barrio Escalante is a living area, full of great gastronomic and entertainment options of artistic level, filling a huge gap in terms of places with concepts and integrated environments, in this case, in a legendary and beautiful capital neighborhood,”

said Rodríguez.

Among the special activities there will be lectures, conferences and good music concerts throughout the festival.
