On the eve of Halloween, there is no better way of getting scared than with Costa Rican legends, the ones grandparents tell in the light of candles.

The book “Chronicles of the occult: ghosts and legends of Costa Rica” sets out 35 strange events, including a few encounters with “Cadejos” and the bitter lament of “La Llorona”.

The official release of the book was on Sunday, on the first floor of the Real Cariari shopping center in Belén. The book costs ¢ 6.500 and seeks to rescue the Costa Rican stories that have crossed generations.

Visitors can enjoy other recreational activities with the theme of Costa Rican legends.
