“Good Actions” will take Costa Rica on Sunday

March 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

For the fourth consecutive year, Costa Rica will celebrate the Good Actions Day on March 26th. More than 200 organizations are preparing with thousands of volunteers to work doing good actions in every corner of the country.

The Festival of Good Actions is a family activity that will feature artistic performances of all kinds and specialized spaces for children in La Libertad Park starting at 11:00 a.m.

Son de Tikizia, Erick Sánchez and his orchestra, duet Los Hurricanes and Los Pirulos will be part of the invited artists, in a totally free activity.

Attendees can make voluntary donations of food and non-perishable products, which will be taken to people of scarce resources.

You can access the festival from Patarrá in Desamparados or from Río Azul in La Unión.

If you cannot attend the festival, you can still be part of the Good Action Day. It does not need money and you can do it in a very short time… How? By helping a person to cross the street, feeding some homeless people or homeless animal.
