Government asked the Inter-American Development Bank for help

September 5, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The government asked the Inter-American Development Bank a non-refundable, technical cooperation for a study of demand for the extension of San José-Cártago road.

The request was made by Vice President and Finance Minister Helio Fallas.

As explained by Minister of Public Works and Transportation Carlos Villalta, the plan is necessary before starting with the process of creating the trust and license of the works.

The request was made after legislators approved the creation of a trust for the construction of the road.
