Government declares national interest in fight against illicit trade

Nation’s tax authority has pledged to create an ineragency commission following complaints from the chamber of commerce (ACHAM) that illicit trade is detrimental to the government and the economy. At issue are narcotics trafficking, counterfeits of brand name products, and illegal software distribution.
