Government signs first National Policy on Cultural Rights

President Laura Chinchilla and the Minister of Culture and Youth, Manuel Obregón signed on Tuesday a National Policy on Cultural Rights (PNDC), which is a series of plans to broaden culture and promote diversity from 2014 to 2023. The policy is meant to implement the Cultural Rights General Act. According to it cordinator, Giancarlo Protti multiple sectors of society will have to work to fund it.
