Hacienda is not calling to install software

March 13, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The Ministry of Finance informed through its social networks that it is not calling taxpayers to install computer softwares such as Team Viewer or similar.

Therefore, Hacienda asks people who receive calls that do not reveal any personal or business information.

At no time officials of the General Tax Office, the General Customs Office, or other agencies of the Ministry have requested or request taxpayers to install Team Viewer as a requirement for electronic invoice, Sicop or other,”

said the entity.

The authorities added that the only official information on electronic invoices is published through its official channels (website, social networks and press releases).

Likewise, all transactions with electronic invoices are made on the website (www.hacienda.go.cr), ATV section.
