Help came before expected! The Red Cross started receiving donations!

Help for people affected by Hurricane Otto came before expected.

Although The Costa Rican Red Cross planned to start receiving donations on Friday, the collection center already has some of them.

The Red Cross is receiving non-perishable items in a storage facility located 200 meters east from the Seminary School, located in Barrio Unido Town, in San José.

As seen in the photograph, the place is identified with flags and banners of the Red Cross and it will be receiving aid until November 27th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They need:

-Canned products
-Grains (rice, sugar, beans)
-Pasta
-Soups
-Bottled water
-Oil
-Personal, hygiene items such as: bath soap, toothpaste, toilet paper and sanitary napkins.

It Will not accept clothes or appliances.

In addition, the institution authorized the following accounts in colones and dollars.
