Help the animals affected by the disaster

October 10, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Tropical Storm Nate struck the country last Thursday and it left behind more than 10 fatal victims and much destruction in different areas of the country.

Faced with the harsh situation, many groups and organizations have joined the cause to collect clothing, food and non-perishable food for the victims.

Such is the case of the Association of Students of Veterinary Medicine of the UNA, which will be collecting food for the families affected, but also articles and animal feed.

The collection will be held in the Lobby of the School of Veterinary Medicine located in Lagunilla de Heredia, from October 10th to 11th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to a post of Association on its Facebook page, they will be collecting food for dogs, cats, chickens and larger species; as well as blankets, leashes and collars.
