Huge Leatherback Turtle rescued from airport tracks in Limón

A 1.5-meter long leatherback turtle was crossing the tracks at the Limón airport yesterday morning.

The Fire Department dealt with the emergency to avoid aircraft accidents.

MINAE was informed for its due control,”

said the entity.

The Airport Police of the Ministry of Public Security also participated in the operation.
