Huge snake found on a landing strip in Coto Brus

On Thursday at 2:25 p.m., an emergency call alerted that a huge snake was on the airstrip at San Vito Airport in Coto Brus, Puntarenas.

According to the Fire Department,

the animal was in the landing field and firefighters picked it up and then returned it to its habitat.”

During 2017, the Fire Department has dealt with 2438 emergencies with snakes throughout the country.

The most recent incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in the Southern Zone of the country.
