Hurricane Otto is now a tropical storm

November 23, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The American National Hurricane Center (CNH) confirmed that Hurricane Otto degraded to tropical storm while it is still in the Caribbean Sea, moving at 7 kilometers per hour.

They came to this conclusion after a hurricane hunter noticed that it had weakened.

The winds continue at speeds above 100 km / h.

However, Otto could gain strength and become a hurricane before it hits land.
