ICE is not raffling cell phones!

June 25, 2018 by Staff News Writer

A series of emails from Grupo ICE, where a supposed raffle of cell phones and tablets is discussed, in exchange for filling out an online survey is nothing more than a scam. The emails have been reaching users of the ICE service but the entity has clarified the matter and asks people not to fall in this trap.

In addition, the Costa Rican Electricity Institute warns of a supposed survey that is used to obtain financial and personal data, so that criminals commit frauds. This survey is not from ICE either!

The emails with misleading content use logos of ICE and its brand Kolbi in order to trick people into thinking they are official emails.
