INAMU launches platform to prevent violence against women

September 15, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The authorities presented a new digital platform to fight violence against women.

The initiative allows quick access to information for both institutions and the general public on care and prevention of violence against women.

The National Institute of Women (INAMU) reported that the site is called Planovicr.

Violence against women in the different spheres is an age-old problem characterized by its severity and complexity. This platform allows women to have access to information that can save their lives and to identify existing mechanisms in our country for help and guidance,”

said Alejandra Mora, Minister of the Status of Women.

Mora added that the system will modernize and streamline communication between institutions and organizations currently working on this issue.

INAMU reported that the portal has several sections where information can be accessed with a directory of contacts, specialized documents on violence against women, events agenda, news and information on courses and training.
