INCOFER canceled eight trips from San José to Cartago

June 26, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Costa Rican Railways Institute (INCOFER) reported that train 81 has significant damage in one of its chambers, which forces them to cancel some services from San José to Cartago and back this Monday.

Departures from Cartago: 6:30 a.m., 8:37 a.m., 4:12 p.m., 4:22 p.m.
Departures from San José: 7:25 a.m., 3:10 p.m., 5:20 p.m., 7:23 p.m.

According to the entity, they are dismantling some of the mechanical parts of the damaged locomotive, which implies a greater number of hours in repair in the workshops.

We have been in the workshop 24/7 since Saturday to be able to provide the service next Tuesday,”

said the entity in its social networks.
