Industrial sectors are looking for digital and technological transformation

On October 25th, members of the Chamber of Industries of Costa Rica (ICRC) participated in the Congress “4.0: Digital Revolution – High Tech-Intelligent Industry” held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where they analyzed new ways to improve their productivity.

Technological trends that integrate digitization like the Internet of things, networks and virtual reality with the third industrial revolution (automation, robotics, nanotechnology and materials engineering) were presented.

The digitization and the information technology are allowing not just the communication among people, but also between the machines and that are transforming the business. The challenge for Costa Rica, the Government, the companies and its workers is huge and in order to improve the competitiveness of the country the changes must occur very fast,”

said Enrique Egloff president of the Chamber of Industry of Costa Rica.
