Interpol arrested Russian citizen in Jacó Beach

Igor Grigorenko, a 44-year-old Russian, was arrested by Interpol officers in Jacó beach, Garabito. The man has come to Costa Rica dozens of times, according to the Immigration and Aliens Directorate.

The foreigner had an international arrest warrant for the alleged crime of fraud. So far the authorities don’t know how the crimes were committed.

The Directorate of Immigration informed that Grigorenko entered the country on June 8th, 2012 and since then he has come more than 80 times.

The last entry to the country was on November 13th, 2018.
