Juan Carlos Bolaños insists on requesting house arrest

January 25, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Juan Carlos Bolaños and his lawyers insist on the change of precautionary measures from prison to house arrest, after their appeal was rejected on January 11th. Said resolution was appealed by Juan Marco Rivero and Fernando Vargas.

Bolaños’ lawyers insist that house arrest is the best measure for their client to recover after surgery on his knee ligaments last December.

Both Fernando Vargas and Juan Marco Rivero insisted that they are not asking him to be released, but to change his precautionary measures.

They added that their client has not been able to start therapy after the surgery and that the criminal centers do not have hygienic conditions.
