Legislator Jorge Arguedas won’t leave Frente Amplio.

The lawmaker threatened on Monday to resign from the party after the election of his partner Suray Carrillo as new head of the party.

After studying the circumstances and considering Frenteamplistas’ goals, whose work is focused on improving the quality of view of all Costa Ricans, I’ll continue being legislator of the Republic of Frente Amplio, representing, from the first power of the Republic, my political party,

he declared in a statement.

After conversations inside the party, the legislator considered as a positive sign that the head of fraction was occupied by the presidential candidate.
