Limon police arrest alleged serial rapist

The suspect, surnamed Calderon and 35 years, was taken at about 1 pm to Tony Facio Hospital in Limon under tight security. He received medical care to treat a gunshot wound in his abdomen, according to the police report, was stable. | DIEGO FOREST G.


On Sunday morning, police arrested a man suspected of being a serial rapist that had terrorized Limón since February. According to judicial officials, two of the five victims are minors between 12 and 15 years and the assaults were at knife point. The suspect was taken to tony Facio Hospital in Limon due to a self-inflicted, accidental shotgun injury.
