When was the last time you noticed the flowering trees in downtown San José? If the answer was “long ago” or you just don’t know, this activity is for you.

Chepecletas and the “Magical Trees” Organization joint to show Costa Ricans more than just buildings in the capital. The walking tour will be held next Sunday, February 12th, in Barrio Escalante and Barrio Dent.

We want Costa Ricans to notice the wonderful beauty of the trees that there are in San Jose, because there is more than history and infrastructure in the city. We are in the flowering stage of many species and we want to share the natural beauties that we have in front of us and sometimes we do not notice,

said Roberto Guzmán from Chepecletas.

Those interested should reserve their space by writing an email to info@chepecletas.com. The tour costs 5,000 colones and the tour guide will be a forestry engineer.

It is open to all public and the activity starts at 9:15 am, at Francia Park. Chepecletas intends to finish the activity with a picnic in a park, so that, attendees can take food to share.
