Man tried to leave the country with pending legal issues

August 1, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A young man named Marenco, of barely 21 years old, and with at least two pending issues with the justice, was arrested by the Immigration Police when he tried to leave the country towards his native Nicaragua.

The young man thought he would go home without problems, but when checking migration systems, there was an alert on him, on suspicion of illegal gun operation and at least one armed robbery.

The Nicaraguan was transferred to the Prosecution Office of Ciudad Quesada, where he will be under the orders of the OIJ.
