Man was kidnapped in his own house and forced to give $10 thousand from his safe

On Wednesday morning, agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) arrested three men suspected of attacking a man and robbing him at home. The alleged perpetrators are 19, 26 and 32 years old and are accused of having committed crimes of kidnap, injuries and threats.

The events occurred on October 29th in Hatillo 8 , when the offended was on public roads. The men arrived in a vehicle and threatened him with a firearm, and forced him to get a house in the area. Once inside they beat him, they stripped him of his belongings and keys of his house.

Later he was forced to return to his residence, where the assailants removed six weapons, as well as television screens and jewelery valued at two million colones. The victim also had a safe and he was threaten and beated to open it so they could steal $10,000.

The suspects left the offended handcuffed and locked in his home and fled. Minutes later the victim managed to escape and ask for help.
