Members of the Red Cross want to rescue everyone, including pets

The work conducted by members of the Red Cross and other officials from the rescue teams, in the wake of hurricane Otto, is invaluable.

Pictures and a video shared by CRHoy.com showed the volunteers risking their lives to save a puppy, that they carred in their arms to the other side of an overflowing river.

The rescue involved at least 5 members of the Red Cross. The video was recorded by Minor Correa, in Aguas Claras de Upala.

Costa Ricans have highlighted volunteers and Red Cross, Fire Brigade and Public Force officials’ work, commitment and dedicatiion. They have assisted the needs of thousands of victims after the hurricane.
