More than 38 thousand people have no water in Escazú, Santa Ana and Mora

A water cut will affect 38,000 people in Escazú, Santa Ana and Mora, reported the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AYA). The suspension is carried out for the maintenance of the pumping network in Santa Ana.

It is recommended that the affected population take appropriate measures and store water only for basic needs.

Affected sites:

Districts: San Rafael, Santa Ana, Pozos, Uruca, Piedades, Brazil, and Colón.

San Rafael de Escazú: Villa Betania, La Primavera, Los Malinches, Los Pinos Street, Los Laureles, US Embassy, Paco Shopping Center, Hernández Street, Camino Real Hotel, Multiplaza, Escazú Avenue, Guachipelín, Boquerón Street, Ceiba Street, Matapalo Street, Carmelitas Convent, Consulate of Peru, Embassy of Japan, Country Club, Cerro Alto Condominium, Los Nisperos Street, Los Rosales Urbanization, Roca Ford Condominium, Cima Hospital and surroundings.

Uruca: Oro River, Ross Street, Machete Street, Cebadilla, and surroundings.

Piedades: Piedades, San Marcos, and surroundings.

Brazil: Brasil de Santa Ana, La Promesa, Vista Cañón, Swiss Travel, El Remanso Condominium, and surroundings.

Colón: Ciudad Colón.
