More than 500 pieces of illegal wood were confiscated

April 18, 2019 by Staff News Writer

More than 500 pieces of wood resulting from illegal logging were confiscated by representatives of the Control and Protection Unit of the Caribbean Friendship Conservation Area in conjunction with officials from the Ministry of Public Security in the vicinity of Bananito, in the province of Limón.

Now the authorities make the respective reports so that the Public Prosecutor of Limón determines the damage caused to nature.

These missions correspond to the control and protection activities that are carried out during Holy Week.
