More than four thousand drivers have registered in Bee Go

October 2, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Collaborative transport platform Bee Go, Uber’s competition, opened up its registration process on Monday. By 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday more than 4,800 drivers had registered, and 1,520 of them met all the requirements, so they could start operations this week if the French company wanted to.

César Blasco, Bee Go’s general manager for Latin America, explained the platform is available in Play Store and they hope it will be enabled for Iphone soon.

The company states that they will be taxed from the first trip and that everything will be done in Costa Rican banks. In addition, Bee Go drivers will pay a 15% toll to the company to use of the platform (Uber charges 25%), and vehicle models from 2000 to 2018 will be accepted.

This new platform promises associates will have Christmas bonuses, a coverage of private medical insurance, and a bonus of 25 thousand colones for each referred driver.
