National Restoration announces that it will defend the right to life

May 1, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Carlos Avendaño, Head of Restauración Nacional Party, used his first speech to announce a fight without truce against abortion, in defense of the Political Constitution.

Avendaño indicated that the Constitution establishes the limits of the authority of the State and recognizes the spheres of individual liberties.

Freedom of expression, freedom of movement, personal freedom, freedom of commerce and industry, the principle of equality, religious freedom. The fraction of National Restoration endorses these principles, which make up the heart of our identity as a Republic,”

said Avedaño, who added that through more transparent and public agreements with other political forces, they will promote incentives that help reactivate the economy, insert the country into international markets and distribute wealth among the most needy.

He concluded that they have sworn before God and the homeland this supreme order.

On this day, with deep convictions, with the confidence of being representatives of a people full of faith and hope, we echo the constituents invoking the name of God and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Costa Rica.”
