Native man needs help!

February 9, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Ernesto Villagra is a native man in despair. For weeks he has been in pain, weak and vomiting blood, but nobody tells him what his health problem is.

Villagra said he visited the health center Daytonia, but they do not know what his illness is and he fears this is due to his lack of health insurance.

The indigenous is a Panamanian national, but he has lived in Talamanca for many years, where his children have grown up. Right now, they are his biggest concern.

The man is begging for medical help, so that he can return to work in whatever he finds, because food has become scarce at home and they only eat green bananas with salt.

Since Monday, the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) has been consulted on this case. However, to date, no response has been obtained.

If you want to collaborate with Don Ernesto and his family, you can call 8456-8518.
