Roosevelt Square, in San Pedro, is the first accessible play area for children with some kind of disability.

Mayor of Montes de Oca Marcel Soler shared in his official Facebook page the pictures of the new space that they hope will be of great benefit to all the residents of the canton.

Soler said that this is a first step and it must continue in other spaces in order to have more inclusive cities in the country.

The space was inaugurated on December 8th and the activity was attended by Vice President of the Republic Ana Helena Chacón.
