New Costa Rican diplomats in China and Australia

The Governing Council ratified the new diplomats for China and for a new headquarter that will be inaugurated in Canberra, Australia.

Patricia Rodríguez Holkemeyer will be the new Ethical Ambassador in the Asian country. She will replace Ricardo Javier León Pérez, who was dismissed on March 7th for lack of results.

Rodríguez, who was a professor at the School of Political Science at the University of Costa Rica, will take office after May 13th, when Leon Pérez will officially leave office.

In addition, Jairo Hernández Milian was removed as Ambassador in Singapore. Hernández will lead the new diplomatic headquarters to be opened in the Australian capital.
