Nothing to do in December? You have a great option in La Luz’ Gastronomic Walk

December 12, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The organizers of La Luz’ Gastronomic Walk have scheduled the activities for this month. They’ve described them as “a real walk”.

From December 10th, and during every December weekend, the well – known Barrio Escalante fair will be held, in which 19 restaurants will offer their food outdoors.

From 11 am to 6 pm, Calle 33 in Barrio Escalante will be full of exclusive cuisine, art and culture. Traffic will be regulated: one lane of this street will be enabled, so vehicles can travel from South to North.

Several activities are scheduled for the following days: December 10th, December 11th, December 17th, December 18th, December 24th, December 25th, December 31st and January 1st.

This is a family activity to start Christmas; it is a time to share. We will offer Christmas menus, Christmas specials and exclusive food with great partnerships and prices,

stated Silvia Rodríguez, president of the Association of restaurants.

This activity reflects, once again, the Association’s goal: to create a gastronomic boulevard.
