OAS declares serious democratic disturbance in Venezuela

On Monday, the Organization of American States declared a “serious unconstitutional alteration of the democratic order” in Venezuela and resolved to implement diplomatic measures to overcome the crisis in that country.

The resolution was approved at an emergency session convened by some twenty countries and Venezuela, accompanied by Bolivia and Nicaragua, absent in protest.
