OAS fails to complete a resolution on Venezuela

June 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Once again, the OAS failed to reach a resolution on the political crisis in Venezuela, since they could not create a “contact group” in the resolution on human rights, the Mexican delegation said.

The human rights resolution has already been closed and the contact group is not included.”

According to Luis Alfonso de Alba, representative to the OAS of Mexico, said group would accompany a dialogue between government and opposition in Venezuela.
