Officers arrested two men who threatened citizens and authorities in Alajuela

Officers from the Public Force in Alajuela, with judicial support, arrested two individuals who threatened residents and police. Both men, who had criminal records, hid in relatives’ homes.

Both of them threatened people and authorities with a knife and a rifle. The men are surnamed Rivera and Guerrero and they were referred to the relevant prosecutor.

They are waiting for precautionary measures.
