OIJ breaks narco structure

Agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) made 44 raids in different sectors of the capital with the purpose of dismantling a group of drug traffickers.

Confidential sources mentioned that the group would be led by a subject known as “Pollo”, who is imprisoned in Nicaragua.

Judicial authorities arrested at least 30 people and seized drugs, weapons, money and other evidence that could compromise subjects.

The police action is concentrated in Tirrases de Curridabat, Linda Vista, Patarra, Dos Cercas, Calle Fallas in Desamparados, as well as Cristo Rey.

The Costa Rican press has been informing of the war between three identified gangs that maintain control the distribution of drugs and weapons in the capital, leaving more than one hundred deadths in their way and concerned authorities in the entire country.
