OIJ reports disappearance of renowned Italian businessman

Stefano Calandrelli, a 51-year-old Italian businessman, has been missing since Monday. On Wednesday, the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) distributed a photograph of the foreigner to try to find his whereabouts.

The European is known in the commercial world of the country for having managed a chain of pizzerias for several years. In addition, he was married between 2007 and 2015 with journalist Adriana Durán Rodríguez, with whom he has a nine-year-old son.

According to the complaint lodged by relatives, Calandrelli was seen on Monday in a shopping center in Escazú and then left in a vehicle to run other errands, but he did not return to his home. Nobody knew anything else.
