March 20, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The price of oil opened on a low on Monday in New York, in a context of concern about the high level of US production and its consequences on the world supply.

By 1300 GMT, the light sweet crude (WTI) price dropped 91 cents to $ 47.87 on the April delivery contract of the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex).
