One house, two restaurants and two offices consumed by fire

Two fires that occurred on Thursday morning completely destroyed a house in Guanacaste and left major damages in two restaurants and two offices in Osa.

Andrés Céspedes, a Fire Department supervisor, reported that the first incident was reported at 2:52 a.m. in Pijije de Bagaces, when a 50-square-meter zinc structure burned down completely.

Fortunately, the owners of the house were not there and no one was injured. It was necessary to send two fire units to the place.

At 4:04 a.m. in Ojochal de Puerto Cortés in Osa, a major fire was reported to have consumed 1,400 square meters of two restaurants and two offices. There were no injuries.
