One of the most wanted in Costa Rica was caught

October 25, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Municipal Police of San José (MSJ) arrested Alfredo Fallas Garro, one of the 10 most wanted by the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ).

Fallas Garro was on the list of the most wanted by the OIJ, which was released this week by the authorities.

According to the Municipal Police, the arrest took place at the Valencia Hotel, located in Avenida 1, Calle 8 in downtown San José.

The OIJ was looking for this person for the crime of extortion and for fleeing after been given a prison benefit.

Judicial authorities did not hide their concern on Tuesday, as they indicated that eight of those 10 people escaped after they were given a prison benefit.

This undoubtedly worries the judicial police, because after arduous investigations the prison sentences are not served.
