Otto Guevara will impugn the Law to Improve the Fight Against Tax Fraud

December 15, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Legislator Otto Guevara, leader of Movimiento Libertario, will impugn the Law to improve the fight against tax fraud before the Constitutional Court.

Guevara declared that he would file a constitutional motion after the bill is signed by President Luis Guillermo Solís and published in La Gaceta.

He informed that he will claim that the bill was processed through a fast-tracked procedure, which was not allowed, as stated by Chamber IV.

He explained that, according to the regulations of the Legislative Assembly, the initiative needed to be approved by the qualified majority (38 votes).
