Peddlers sold chilies, avocados… And drugs

March 13, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Two street vendors offered chilies, avocados and marijuana at retail price in downtown San José.

The Public Force managed to capture the foreign peddlers, named Beltre and González, who had 22 doses of marijuana in the carton were they kept the chilies.

Beltre, a Dominican national, has a residence permit; while González, a Nicaraguan man, only carried the identity card of his country.

The Public Force immediately presented the evidence of this crime before the Public Ministry.
